History of Pakistan Art
More than five thousand years ago Pakistan is a country having roots in historic culture. It may also contain reminiscences of the Indus civilization. The artistic influences found in major Pakistan art history are the Islamic ideology. The ancient art history was found in the city of Moen-Jo-Daro as an archaeological site all over the country. They have yielded that the region was very advanced activities and had a rich culture.
The culture of Mughal era had a great impact in our art history, which has left its mark on much of our literature, painting, architecture, as well as societal norms which we are follow today. The current array of arts in Pakistan is hugely divergent trends that are change in individual provinces, cultures and other regions of Pakistan
According to Banu Quddsia, according to the many ages the standard book of art history used in many art institutions across Pakistan. Normally, students treat this book like a scared text, because the detail in art books are considered as true as words of a divinity transcribed in the holy book. While teaching Pakistan art history, a lecturer often use photocopies of its chapters circulating among the generations of students working hard with the history of art. Basically history is considered a dry and difficult subject. It would be interesting to investigate how the idea of history exists in Pakistan, as a state that has a history of 67 years. But there have been doing attempts to link the history of Pakistan either with its independence day, or with the invasion of Arab warriors under Muhammad Bin Qasim, or with the archaeological sites like Indus Valley Civilization. The history of Pakistan are based on two categories.
Modern Painting In East Pakistan
Zainul Abedin is one of the best artists. He is considered the pioneer of modernism in East Pakistan. Formally, in paintings and drawings, he relied on the Kalighat folk art made in Bengal as well as the art of earlier Indian painters like Jemini Roy etc. But he select the topics such as famine and working-class life, because he wants to show more socially awareness through his work than the work of these earlier artists.
Modern Painting In West Pakistan

They choose styles prevalent in other countries like Europe and the United States, but they also experimented with orignating traditions to see how these could adjust into the modern world.

These are found inside buildings as pottery, carpets, and fabrics,, It can also be found in the form of as leather, jewelry, and textiles. These handcrafts are a hallmark of Pakistan art history. Pakistani craftspeople excel at weaving, metalwork, and pottery. Knotted woolen carpets with Islamic designs are part of the culture. In Pakistan, Karachi and Lahore are the main centers for the production of fine carpets. Textiles such as bedspreads and shawls are popular, and the Sindh and Baloch region.
Truck Painting Art
It is an indigenous form of art performed in Pakistan. Truck art is colorful floral patterns, which is based on imaginative creatures, depiction of human heroes with creative aspect ratios and calligraphy verses of poet. This form of art is truly a part of Pakistani transport tradition. Truck art is also considered a folk art which represents the dreams, inspirations, hobbies, the imagination of the painters in Pakistan.
