Chapli kabab

Chapli kabab is of the special and delicious dish which is prepared from the meat of beef or mutton. This dish originated from Peshawar city, that’s why it’s also known as Peshawari kabab. These kebabs are very spicy and tasty. The ingredients include in these kebabs are flour, a wide range of spices, coriander leaves, chopped tomatoes, onions, mashed eggs, ginger, cumin seed, lemon juice, with meat.

Mantu

Mantu is another appetizing meat dish of the Khyber Pakhtunkhawa culture food. This dish is also includes in Turkish cuisine, Afghan cuisine, and Chinese food. It consists of a spiced meat mixture of lamb or ground beef. The meat is covered in the dough wrapper. This meat is cooked on multilayer steam. The edges of the dough are tightly sealed so that the filling doesn’t come out while cooking. It is served with a mixed vegetable sauce to eat.

Namkeen Tikka

Namkeen Tikka is a classic tikka dish of KPK. It is a popular KPK food of Pakistan and available in every region. It is also famous with the name of Shinwari Tikka. It includes meat pieces with only salt marination. The cooking process involves making meat pieces over charcoal. They are served with yogurt chutney and fresh salad.

Kabuli Pulao

Kabuli pulao is a mix of rice, lamb, dry fruits, and spices. The name of dish Kabuli Pulao is chossen due to back root from Kabul. It is cooked during special occasions. Kabuli pulao is a Khyber Pakhtunkhawa culture food in which basmati rice is normally used.  The ingredients that require cooking this dish include a stew of lamb or beef, onion, garlic, cinnamon, cardamom, cumin seeds, cloves, water, salt, pepper, carrots, sugar, raisin, salt, almonds, and oil. It is a nice healthy dish by the use of different dry fruits and meat in it.

Londei:

This dish is contained of spiced lamb jerky cooked with rice.  It lamb meat is cut into strips and then it dries with salt. And rice is cooked separately and after that mixed to make a perfect food fusion. This dish takes a long time to make it delicious and unique. People of Pakhtuns love to eat such kind of dish.

Chopan Kabab:

Chopan kababs are basically lamb chops that are grilled and steam on coal. The lamb’s piece chopped in fat and thin form. After that the meat pre-marinates with raw papaya, ginger and garlic paste,red chilli, fennel, and yogurt for 8-10 hours. Then these chops are cooked in a tandoor oven. Peshawari Lamb Chops are of the delightful treat for meat-lovers. Yogurt chutney and naan-bread make great accompaniments and create amazing taste of the chops.

Dum Pukht:

Dum Pukht is a favorite Khyber Pakhtunkhawa culture food of Peshawar that is cooked with the meat of mutton or beef. The pieces of meat are cooked in low flame heat in its individual fat along in dough saeled pot  with onion, cardamom, potatoes, yogurt, red pepper, garam masala, salt, garlic paste, and oil. This kind of tasty dish can be cooked with in one hour. People will enjoy it with tandoori roti, mint consisting chutni and chilled coc.
